This work appears in a scene where mystery novelist and radio DJ Jang Jae-yeol (played by Jo In-sung) points to a camel painting hanging in his bathroom and continues his dialogue with the line, “Do you know what this camel painting is? In the desert, nomads tie their camels to trees like this at night. But in the morning, they untie the rope. As you can see, the camel still doesn’t run away. It remembers the night it was tied to the tree. Just like we remember the wounds we’ve experienced. It’s about how past traumas and wounds hold us back in the present.”
